Located in Iisalmi, Finland, Kuappi is the world's smallest restaurant. With room for only two guests at a time, the word Kuappi translates to ‘the closet’ in Finnish. For such a special restaurant concept Kuappi’s current branding lacks cohesiveness and fails to convey the message of small. My approach to the project was to create a brand that embodied the quaint, uniqueness Kuappi emotes through their restaurant. The most important thing about this project was the changing of the logo to something conceptually sound and easily applicable to the branding system.

The overall goal of the rebrand is to bring a more youthful and contemporary feeling to the restaurant while keeping the idea of ‘small’ at the forefront.
